Shalom, Friends!
We’re excited to share that Shalom Friends is back for another season of connection, Jewish learning, and fun in Truckee!
Our group began as a way to bring families together, build friendships, and share Jewish education, values and traditions in a warm, child-friendly environment. Many of you joined us last year, and we loved seeing the joy and community spirit that filled each gathering.
This fall, we’ll continue meeting once a month. Our focus is on early childhood - toddlers and young children. The programming includes stories, songs, crafts, and holiday-themed activities that help our children (and us!) connect with Jewish life in Truckee in meaningful and playful ways.
We would love to have you join us. If you are interested, please save the below fall dates (generally 2nd Thursday each month)! Respond to this email to let us know whether to expect you for our first group on September 11, so we can have a headcount for snacks and activities.

Time & Location: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm @ Truckee Rec Center (TDRPD building, meeting room TBD). We will schmooze and snack, and programming will start at 5:00 pm, so feel free to arrive whenever you can!
