Beach B’Omer Bash

This event is brought to you by the Tahoe Jewish Community. See full event details here, including RSVP because SPACE IS LIMITED!

Celebrate Lag B’Omer at the beach with tradition, fun, and community!

Join us on Saturday, May 17th for a festive day of sunshine, beach games, and a delicious Lag B’Omer-style BBQ featuring a build-your-own baked potato bar. Space is limited, so please RSVP now to reserve your spot.

Occurring on the 33rd day of the Omer - the 49 day season between Passover and Shavuot - Lag B’Omer is a reminder to make space and time for worldly joy in the midst of this contemplative season. Observed in Israel through community gatherings, bonfires, and outdoor games, these celebrations honor Rabbis Akiva and Simeon Bar Yocchai’s post-Second Temple efforts to bring about their vision for a better world, one in which each of us (and all of the Jewish people) can exercise the power to self determine our own fate.

Don’t forget to RSVP to join us as we observe Shabbat and Lag B’Omer at our Beach B’Omer Bash!
